Mass Exodus Madness

Mass Exodus is Ryerson Universities much anticipated annual fashion show. It features the collections of their graduating fashion design students over the course of one day, with three day shows and one curated night show. This year I had the pleasure of participating as one of the designers, where I featured my Lingerie line Lady of the Valley. For anyone who has ever participated in a fashion show, you know the hectic chaos of the backstage world, and the gruelling work and preparation that goes into the 30 seconds of runway time that your collection sees. I was fortunate enough to work with a team of skilled models, makeup, and hair artists who helped my vision come to life. After 6 months of prep work my collection was runway ready, and the effect was everything I dreamed of. The models looked amazing and ethereal, the collaboration of hair, makeup, and costume in perfect choreography. This marks the passing of my first high profile runway show, with hopefully many more in my future!

Stay happy fashion junkies!
